Manuscripts and Memories

I can hardly believe it—I turned in my manuscript! The book is already available for pre-release on Amazon, which is an absolute pinch-me moment, but it won't officially come out until June 2025.

I'm both excited and nervous. It’s been such a massive part of my life the last year+ that I now feel unsure what to do with myself.

I may, at some point, write about the whole process I went through, from writing to submitting (and resubmitting) book proposals, working with my family, editors, etc., but this is more of an introductory blog while I try to figure out what to do with my new free time.

Also, even though I’ve already submitted the manuscript, I keep remembering little stories and details that are too late to add to the book. My daughter, Lindsay, suggested I start a blog as a space to write them down.

So here I am, planning to write these memories here to preserve them for myself, my family, and maybe anyone else who has felt some connection to my son or our stories.

I'm not sure how much I'll keep up with this, but I am incredibly grateful for all the support I've received throughout this process. Whether you’re here for the stories or just checking it out, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
